Sewing camp

I signed up for the one day beginners class (because I didn't know how I'd get on). I made a pouch, including inserting a zip, which was fun. I had initially expressed an interest in patchwork so started a small nine square piece. I enjoyed the class so much that I came for another day and finished my patchwork which was large enough to attach to a plain cushion (which I am finishing off at home). My final project was a pair of pyjama-type trousers. I managed to complete every step from preparing the pattern to attaching the pockets. I will also complete this project at home (fingers crossed). There were only two other people in the class, each with a project they had brought with them and it was interesting to see what they were doing. Monika, our teacher, was very helpful and encouraging and I learned so much. Once I have completed my two projects I will definitely look into other course. Tasty lunches too!! Thank you!!
